Physical and Chemical Properties | This product is extracted from chicken, duck, goose and other bile. For white or light yellow crystalline powder; Taste bitter, there are different odor. Mp141-142. Soluble in ethanol, chloroform and glacial acetic acid, almost insoluble in water. This product can reduce the synthesis and secretion of cholesterol, so that the total cholesterol in the bile is reduced, so as to improve the ability of bile to dissolve cholesterol, promote the dissociation of cholesterol and achieve the effect of dissolving stones. After oral administration of this product in the gallbladder concentration is very high, and can be repeated hepatic and intestinal circulation.
